MANAGEMENT ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS PROFILE

OLAWALE ISAAC, WALE-AWE JP, Ph.D., FCA.

Dr. Olawale Wale-Awe is the Chairman of the management advisory board. He has over 36 years post degree experience in accounting, auditing, banking, consulting and the academics. Wale has been involved in jobs relating to proffering solutions to businesses, government agencies and international organisations as a Consultant.

Wale holds B.Sc. Economics, PGD Computer Science, PGD Theology, M.Sc. Banking & Finance and Ph.D. Finance. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, and has authored academic journal articles, five books and a novel.

He trained with Deloitte for four years before embarking on a four-year career in banking. He went into consulting for three years and into academics for eleven years (at Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti) before joining ICAN, as a Director. He is currently the managing partner of Wale Awe & Co (Chartered Accountants). He was awarded Justice of the Peace (JP) in March 2012 by the Ekiti State Government in Nigeria. He is a pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

OLA AJALA MBA, M.Sc., FCIT, FCA

Mr. Ola Ajala started his working career as an Accounts Clerk at G. B. Ollivant Nigeria Limited before joining Tropical Fisheries Limited as Accountant and Gabe Fasoto & Co. (Chartered Accountants). He also worked with Afro-Continental Nigeria Limited as Treasury Accountant and Metro-Lion (Nig.) Limited as Group Finance & Administrative Manager.

He has been an Assessor and Examiner of ICAN since 1990 and serves as committee member on the Committees of Council of The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) including Chairman – Induction Subcommittee for two years. A professional to the core, he also serves on the Parish Church Council of St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Idi-Oro Archdeaconry, as Chairman – Financial Advisory Committee, and member of Finance & Investment Committee of the Mainland Diocese of Lagos – Anglican Communion. He runs the firm of Ola Ajala & Co (Chartered Accountants) as Managing Partner.

ADESOJI ISAAC, ADEOTI M.Sc., FCA

Adesoji Adeoti started his professional career as a Senior Auditor at the College of Education, Ikere-Ekiti, and rose to become the Deputy Bursar of the same institution, having served earlier as a Senior Accountant, Principal Accountant and Chief Accountant.

Before his appointment at the College of Education, Ikere-Ekiti, he worked with Ekiti State Local Government Service Commission as a Senior Accountant. Earlier, he had worked with some accounting firms and the First Interstate Bank Plc.

Adesoji has HND Accountancy, B.Sc. Accounting, M.Sc. Accounting, and he is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He had served as Chairman of the Ado-Ekiti & District Society of ICAN. He has also served as assessor and invigilator in ICAN examinations. He was part time lecturer at Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti and still lectures on part-time at Crown Polytechnic, Odo, Ado-Ekiti.
